Description

Pot size: 200mm/4L black plastic pot.

Current average plant height: 80cm

2 Citrus Fruits on 1 Tree.

Grow delicious Meyer Lemons and Tahitian Limes on one lush, evergreen tree.

This double grafted beauty provides you with delicious crops of lemons and limes, which grow evenly and equally as the tree develops over time.

This is the perfect tree for smaller yards and saving space in the garden and can be grown in a large pot (larger the better).

Plants are available for pickup 3 days a week from Gold Coast Robina or Brisbane Chermside.

Or come browse our plants at the HOTA artisan markets in Bundall every 2nd Sunday of the month.

LOCAL PLANT CO. TOP PICKĀ

Meyer Lemons produce a thin, smooth skin fruit which is sweeter and juicer than other lemons.

Tahitian limes are a very juicy, seedless fruit, making it ideal for cooking and for refreshing drinks.

Now you can add both lemon and lime to your gin and tonic without breaking the bank.

Additional information

Plant Care

POSITION: Full sun and sheltered positions. Protect from strong winds during flowering or while fruit is forming.

SOIL: Well drained soil. Mulch to keep roots cool and suppress weeds, leaving a 25mm gap around the trunk.

WATER: Monitor watering – less in cooler months and increase during warmer months and when flowering or when fruiting.
If planted in pot, it may require more watering, especially during hot weather.

CARE: Fertilise using a citrus fertiliser as directed to maintain tree health. Remove any suckers at the base of the trunk (below the graft) to encourage growth.

PLANTING: Dig hole to depth of root system and 3 times in diameter, remove plant from pot and place into hole, backfill and gently firm down soil. Water thoroughly and continue to water regularly while the plant is establishing.
Can be planted in large pots but growth can be restricted by pot size – water well if kept in pot.

PRUNING: Prune to maintain shape. Keep your tree looking balanced by pruning back any branches that are outgrowing the others.
